At S M Thompson, we provide CNC plate rolling and section rolling services for a wide range of industries and applications, with the capability to process both heavy steel plate and structural sections.

Our CNC plate rolling equipment allows us to roll plate up to 3000mm wide and up to 110mm thick, with our four-roll system providing accurate forming and the ability to pre-press the ends. This enables us to produce high-quality cylindrical and curved components to customer drawings and specifications.

We also offer section rolling, forming a variety of structural sections and profiles to meet individual project requirements.

From individual components through to larger production requirements, our rolling services are carried out in-house and are supported by our wider range of steel processing capabilities.
